Friday. Dusty was up and out to run errands and pick up some feed. He had some unexpected things come up so he did not get home until later in the day. He found out from the Diagnostic lab that the goat died of liver failure. Before the herd came to us their nutrition was questionable and they were suffering from that. We will have to continue tweaking their diet and work on getting the rumen back in shape. So far, everyone else is eating well. They have all been wormed twice. We will start them all on a mineral and Probias.

We got fed early, before the usual rain of the day and Dusty left to spend the night with friends. He has to go to work tomorrow so hopefully he will get some sleep.
