Monday. Fog again. Dusty was feeling okay today. I picked up the house and got the bills and computer work done. I made an appointment for Dusty to see a surgeon on Thursday. I ran to the grocery store for a few items and then came home.

Dusty ran some errands and began working on another cross-section of fencing. He then went to get some feed. He started working on the horses feet so they will all be done before he has his surgery. He will not feel much like doing that after the surgery.

Donny came in and we went to feed. As usual, the rain began again just as we went out the door. We got close to an inch of rain in less than 20 minutes. It began to flood the horse barn but since I was there, I was able to divert it some so it did not cause much of a mess.

A hen had her baby chick out in the rain and it did not make it. We got it buried but the hen will not let anyone around that spot. I felt so sorry for her. Hopefully she can start setting another bunch of eggs soon.
