Wednesday. I was up early to get the dogs fed and to give Emma Lee her bottle. I had to go to the Cradle of Forestry this morning for the last school group. It got hot later in the morning with my dress on and the fire in the kitchen.

I got home and let the dogs out. Dusty had to go into work today so they had been up in the house for a while. Emma Lee likes to go out with the dogs and nibble on the grass. She does not know that she is a goat.

A man we knew was killed in a farming accident over the weekend. His funeral was today.

Feeding went well. The sheep and goats are staying in the barn more during the heat of the day so it is getting pretty dirty. Hopefully we can get that cleaned out soon. The babies are doing well. I will get them outside soon.
