Monday. I got up and picked up the house after getting everyone settled inside, I went out to spray weeds. I kept my fingers crossed the whole time that it would not rain. It was pretty hot so hopefully the weed killer took. I finished that about noon and came it to start some typing. I made a cake to take to the neighbors tonight for a cook out. Dusty picked lettuce and onions to take too.

Dusty began working on a fence in the cow pasture. He had his shirt off and I warned him that he would get burnt. He said that he had sunscreen on but time will tell.

Later in the afternoon, an airplane crashed at a nearby airport. Two people were killed. The weather was bad in places but not here so I don't know what caused it to crash. The sky was black and it was thundering all around us but we only got a drop or two of rain so the cookout was not ruined.
