Thursday. Dusty made it through the night with little pain. He got up and showered and redressed all the puncture wounds. He left to go with his friend Courtney to look at some tack. I told him that I thought it was to soon for him to be out and going but he went anyway.

I got the house picked up and went outside to mow the grass and work in the yard. I let the horses out and went ahead and fed while I was out. It was getting pretty hot by the time I got through with all that so I headed for the house. Dusty came in soon after and took a nap. While working on the computer, I noticed that the sky was getting dark and I heard some thunder so I went to put the horses up. I did not make it in time and got soaked in the process. I stayed around the horse barn for over a half an hour while it stormed. We got a good inch of rain.

It had not rained at the hay fields so Donny went and hooked up mowing equipment after work. Hopefully he can start cutting hay tomorrow evening if it doesn't rain.
