Sunday and Father's Day. We woke up to rain. Donny went to the barn and made sure that Cecily and her babies were in shelter. I got up and fed the dogs and Emily. They all then went out to play and go to the barn with Donny.
I finally decided to close up all the windows and put the air on. The dogs were restless last night and it was too uncomfortable to sleep. I would rather have the windows and doors open but with the high humidity and temperatures right now, I will keep the air on.
Donny worked in my carding room so I could do some carding today. The wool was a little sticky so I will try spraying some fabric softener on it and card later on.
While I was carding, Shelly, a Nigerian dwarf had twin boys. Dusty pulled the first baby because we thought it was presenting wrong. She was not sure what was going on but after the next baby was born she had figured out what to do and was talking to them and licking them clean. We will probably just leave them where they are.
We got everything fed and Donny and Dusty worked on the horse barn some. He is working on the feed room, tack room and his office now.
