Monday. I got up early fed the dogs and gave Emma Lee her bottle. I picked up the house and left to run errands. While I was out, I picked up 20 Day Lilly plants to set out. I got back home in time for Emma Lee's second bottle of the day. She is picking grass and weeds well plus eating grain when she goes to the barn so I am cutting her milk in half and adding more water to it. She really does not need the bottle but she is spoiled and does need the water.

I went down in the afternoon and fed the animals. I gave the horses their Peppermint treats that I had bought earlier in the day. Calamity doesn't really know how to take them from my hand but she will learn. Everyone else took their share.

I got back in and started supper and typing. Dusty had left to run his errands. He is driving a bit but he is still getting tired really easy. Donny went to fix the kicker and rake after work so he could start putting up more of the hay. We are supposed to have a long dry spell so I am hoping that we can get most of the hay up now and have a good chance at a second cutting if the rain continues.
